I agree - lay off Charlie! Do you think he would file for unemployment?
And lay off Charlie Weis eating everybody's lunches

OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!Any idea what I called them? I can't find them in my pics, but that's not what I had tonight anyway. I know I posted some scallops here not too long ago though... That's going to bug me now where they are hidden.
Tonight's seafood dinner at the "local" seafood joint. My place
First time grilling tuna. I used Fryboy's marinade, but AB's grilling technique, on the charcoal chimney, or jet engine as he called it. One minute each side. I almost hated to cut into it...

And I also grilled some shrimp, basted with Gallagher's hot sauce. And fixed some broccoli in my usual way. The sauce sloppily applied onto the tuna slices was simmered; soy, honey, lime juice, pepper flakes and cillantro.

And yes, I actually used lime juice, but cut into a lemon for a garnish! My first garnish!![]()

My wife and I worked together tonight and made some seasoned baked salmon with mashed potatoes and peas with a nice honey / soy sauce.
I love this dish!
I had guests (again), to celebrate a birthday. We celebrated with roast chicken, garlic mashed potatoes with parmesan and chives, broccoli almondine, hard rolls.
I wanted to serve a pinot noir, but the birthday girl wanted asti spumante, so we settled for that (I'm not so sure it worked).
Then, of course, we had birthday cake - a white chocolate and raspberry confection that is to die for.....
