What's Cookin' Good Lookin' - Sunday, 3/24 to Saturday, 3/30 ??

Peep, your sauce looks lovely, brown and beefy! Do you just make Italian meatballs in the shape of burgers?

Med, I would love the recipe for barley risotto! What a brilliant idea!

I'm no artist, so I give you my puffin pot pie.
Lol
Should have made a tulip instead.
Dessert will be my birthday butterscotch sundae at DQ.

Nice job peeps!

Mom used to make them. They are great.
Friday, it would be medium shells, with fried onions, and beans.
Saturday's......it would be fried hot dogs; onions and peppers, eggs and flour, and a pinch of baking soda slurry to build a nice big frittata.

Last night I had an airline chicken breast with garlic fries. Tonight is my last night in Park City and will have a Caesar salad topped with a grilled salmon fillet.

Had to look that up, Johnny !
"Airline chicken breast is nothing more than a nickname for a particular cut of chicken breast. It is a boneless breast with the first joint of the wing still attached."

Hope you're enjoying yourself !
Get back Safe !

Yeah, it was something the food service industry came up with. Matt’s is a gluten free pinko encrusted breast served with cheese grits, normally. It’s a popular item on the menu.

I followed the pie crust recipe to the letter.
It certainly did not form into a smooth ball, so rolling it out is going to be interesting.
It's full of ridges and chilling.
Eeek.

So far.... We had a McDonalds fish sandwich for lunch.
Not bad! .....

Supper!..... Last minute whatever. ??? Still thinking. Duh!

Ya Know what Mom would say? .... "You kids aren't S O A B'n Hungry...... Period!"

It worked!
The pie crust was a pain in the butt to work with.
Push with finger tips, roll, push, roll.
It's dense, flaky and the mayo lends a very nice flavour.
The tuna filling is a lrg can Starkist, can cream of anything soup, Stokley mixed vegs, onion powder, seasoning salt, a little smoked paprika, minced onion.
I'll use this crust recipe for a beef pot pie in the future.

I made Tuna with browned bread crumbs, olive oil, and minced garlic; over spaghetti.
It was so good, with lemon juice.

I’ll be eating at home tonight and no clue what it will be.

Last night I had one last salmon Caesar with white anchovies.

I’ll try for a burger for lunch at SLC airport.
