med, those sandwiches look incredible!

It's actually pretty easy, just fiddly steps and time. Finally pushed me into buying a couche (off eBay). I've been wanting one for a while. They came out pretty good, though I did end up adding extra flour, I'm guessing because of the humidity here, especially last few days. I didn't do the lava rock thing either, just a metal pan and water.

Red Lobster trip in Maumee, Ohio tonight.
First actual sit-down outing in a public restaurant since we've been covidly unallowed.
Not sure what I'll get.

I have one of my favorite quicky meals planned for tonight.

Chow mein noodles, bagged Asian salad mix with the ginger/sesame dressing, and stir fried shrimp

I just ordered a Couche from Amazon. I also ordered a lame which I already received (6 extra blades included).

Supported my diner again today,,, carried in Beef Stew....

Butter sauteed mushrooms, asparagus, garlic with a camembert sauce, with roasted potatoes and eggs.

I got a lame with my couche. The bread shown is cut from 1 of my loaves.

We've had a lousy 2 days.
Yesterday our "good" cars AC went. They kept it overnight because they needed one part and they close early now (6pm).
Today we had to take our 8 year old boy cat to the vet. He has urinary disease. It is a mild case but his bladder in inflamed. I liked the curbside service. BUT it was warm and sunny today sitting in the "old" car that has no AC and 2 of the windows don't open. But it didn't take that long. They gave him meds at the hospital. We got a bag with syringes for pain and pills for inflammation and spasming and some special diet wet food. The doctor said this will be a recurring thing and he will probably have to be on special diet forever. Thing is he doesn't like the wet food. We will have to get the Hills Science dry food. But he will be ok.

Then

Breakfast was a turkey and stuffing sandwich.

I have my turkey bones and scraps simmering. Soup for dinner if all goes as planned.
Need to take kitty back to doctor so I will go from there.

I just might make a Jimmy-type meal tonight.
Out of curiosity I bought a frozen Boston Market Salisbury steaks with cheesy pasta.
I'll add some vegs on the side too.
Boring rainy day here.

A beer burger (yes it has some beer in it), mushroom ketchup, beer braised onions, sharp cheddar, on homemade pretzel buns, with steak fries.
