This was actually done like an hour ago.
I turned the crockpot down to warm, because I was waiting for my friend Pam to get here.

Tonight is leftover chili, polenta, and cheese sausages.
Two can chili and cornbread sticks.
Went on an overnight trip with a friend to Ogunquit, Maine to see the musical "Beautiful" - the Carole King story. It was wonderful and we knew almost all the songs.
We had a ball, snacking our way around the town. Tonight was back to healthy-ish.

Bavarian pretzel with cheese dipping sauce
Bloody Mary around a firepit table on a cool day.
We managed to get in some fruit at the hotel before walking to The Omelette Factory for a couple of excellent omelettes.

I’m grilling country ribs and making home made Memphis BBQ Sauce to top. No rub this time, I Think.
There will be a salad and tomatoes.
Last night Nancy made a casserole using leftover chili and leftover polenta, which was excellent. I reheated the the German cheese sausages, too.
