Hey, I'm friends with BuckyTom who told me this is a way cooler site than DiscussCokking. He's right !! I've been reading the forums and see you people love to cook. I just bought me a "crock" pot (no BuckyTom, I didn't say I was a "crock", I said I bought a crock...)
and am looking for receipts to enjoy.

Hi Omega and welcome to NCT! Any friend of Bucky's should fit right in here. I love crock pot cooking (also called slow cooker) and you will find lots of recipes here. (Contrary to what BT may have told you - you can do more with a slow cooker than make jailhouse hooch.)

Welcome aboard OM! I agree with QSis, a friend of BT's is definitely a welcome friend here!

We have a slow Cooker section you can look at, and if you have specific ingredients you'd like to use, just post and we'll pool our resources and come up with something for you!

I notice you said "receipts" and not recipes? The only time I've seen that terminology was from a French speaker? Can you tell us where you're from?

Welcome, OM. We're all at least half a bubble off, but that's what holds us together as a fun loving group of misfits. Glad to see you leaving Happy Valley (DC) for a new life in the promised land. Our Mods here are cool, unlike the sadomasochists who control the content in Happy Valley. But you figured that out already.

Did you bring any snacks with you? I'm hungry...
