I chopped up a big carrot with it today. Of course, I first cut it into slices with a knife. I also vacuum sealed it & in the freezer it went!! Hah!! Laugh if you want to, but I find this little gadget to be a real work saver!!! :whistling:
 
Here's a small chamber machine (USV1) that's made by Avid Armor, selling at a modest price for those who want a chamber vacuum sealer, but don't want to pay too much for one!!! I probably would've bought one had it came out earlier!!! :whistling:
