Thanks! I definitely plan to use these threads for inspiration. Already my horizon for green beans has exploded! We eat tons of green beans, and now I have tons of alternative ways to cook them! It's rather exciting! :biggrin:

Maybe we ought to move these threads to the Reference forum so they're easier to find? Although, I think searching on "Twenty-Five" in the title should find them all pretty well?
 
#2 and #13 are both green beans almondine.

How about Italian green beans with salsa and jack cheese.
 
I think we should move each thread into its specific food forum when it's complete. Then when we're looking for beef, it will be with the other beef topics.

Works for me. I just did a search on "twenty-five" and all three of the threads showed right at the top, so searching for them is easy no matter where they are. :thumb:
 
OK, Keltin. I moved the Green Beans & Ground Beef threads into the Vegetable & Beef forums. I'll try to remember to move them as they come up, but if I miss any, just report the thread one one of the Mods will take care of it.
 
The Ground Beef version of this was awesome. I was glad Luvs reminded me of Blu Cheese Burgers. Mmmmmm
Then when the Green Bean version started I thought whoa, that is going to be hard to come up with 25. WRONG. You guys came through with flying colors. Nicely done and some very mouth watering ideas that I had never heard of. THANKS!!!!!!!!!
 
Haven't done it yet, but the one that I'm going to try is a Cook's Illustrated recipe. I have it stashed somewhere, but I'll have to look for it.
When you try it let me know what you think of it.

I have a recipe for Lobster sauce and as soon as I can find fermented black beans I plan to make it and serve it over steamed string beans.
