I have the sheet started. I went to each user's profile and I filled in the city / state / country, based on what each user enteered. Several users are either not clear, or did not post this info.
I have already calculated all of the trips that I can from this info.
This is important
If you do not want your city and state generally known, and you still want the chart accurate, PM me the info, I will use it ti calculate and discard it. If you want to post it here, I will mopnitor this thread. If you add it to your profile, please let me know.
So far, I have 7 unknowns and the total of all the trips that I can calculate is 14,861 miles.

I live 8/10ths of a mile from homecook, so you can add that to the distance. 
BTW, when it comes to Barb, we'll get together and then send it to the next person. No need to have it come back to me when we drive by each others homes multiple times each week, so please move me up to homecook/JoeV. (It's probably going to cost me 2 cinnamon rolls.)

I'm not going back through 10 pages of posts to find where that was ignored. We'll handle it when it shows up in Mentor, then I'll ask to be removed from the list. Maybe then it will sink in that it makes sense to do it this way. 
Oh, and I guess 4 cinnamon rolls it will have to be. It's still cheaper than double postage and holding up the process. Oh, and who pi$$ed off that skunk in my back yard? My whole house smells like skunk, and we had to light all the scented candles (thank goodness DW has 6,517 of them) to clear the odor. Peeeeeeee-yew!

Sure, that will work.
As I said somewhere, any folks who live close together are welcome to get together and pass the apron, have lunch with the apron, etc. However, it was decided that we were not going to change the order of the names to mail to because of proximity but being able to meet in person is encouraged. Maybe even a pic of the apron hand off would be in order.

i sympathize about the skunk issue!! every freaking tonight for 2 weeks we smelled skunk!! it has taken a break for a few days now so maybe they moved along.I'm not going back through 10 pages of posts to find where that was ignored. Ok, this has gone on long enough. I went back to the beginning of this thread, which is like 24 pages, and pulled out posts that were against handing it off to someone that lived close by, that they had to wait until it was their turn on the list.
I will say that chowhound mentioned this in the very beginning like post #10, 13, 64, 87, etc. Since JoeV and I live within walking distance it would only make sense for us to share it at the same time and I will in turn send it off to the next person listed after me which I believe is Andy and Joe's name is taken off. That way it will move quicker through the list. Doc says he agrees with this. He did mention it in post #133. See, I told you I listed them all. LOL He also gave his blessing in post #232.
Don't talk to me about the logistics because that's beyond me. All I know is if you can deliver the apron to someone that's close there is no reason not to, then that person will be taken off the list.
Did any of that make sense?? Because it's been re-hashed over and over already........
I also think since Miniman has the apron now why doesn't he just send it on to Galvatron who in turn would send it on to the next person on the list??? I don't think we're going to be like a bunch of babies and argue that someone else should have gotten it first..................are we? I’m fine with that. When it is definitely known that someone is close, then go for it. My only concern was sitting down and taking time to figure out where all 24 people where on the list geographically and then trying to plan a route through all 24 in the most “as-the-crow-flies” manner.
I don’t think anyone should have to sit down and rearrange the list and plot a geographical route (that can change if others get added to the list after the original 24)……BUT, if you definitely KNOW that a person is close to you, then go for it.

I certainly don't care if miniman doesn't send it to me next, even though I'm next on the list. That's what I was trying to say from the beginning. It doesn't take a map engineer to read where someone is from (below their avatar) and say, hey, they aren't that far from me. I got the feeling some people might feel slighted if their name got passed by.
