Paul and I have very busy lives.... most of our friends are even busier so we hardly ever get to see them.... We really don't go out a lot because we like the quiet life and love just being at home together.... ALONE...we are hermits! lol
In the last few days so many things have come up...
1. cousin wanted to have dinner with us tonight! She was going to be in town from Oregon. WE said yes... she just called and cancelled.
2. Angels and Demons starts this weekend, we have friends that want us to go with them on Saturday night.
3. Other friends just invited us to a party ...when... well on Saturday night
4. Paul's parents are coming for the weekend of the 24th
5. Another cousin just called from Oregon and he wants to come spend the night tomorrow and he's bringing a friend!!! Ok, at least we had ONE day warning. I love this guy to death but... a few extra days would have been nice.
6. We've been trying to figure out a date mom can come visit. Between her schedule, ours and David's... it looked like it was going to have to be August. But NOW things have cleared up and it looks like June 10th will work. BUT, she just wrote and said she had to be in Seattle to visit a sick friend next week and basically announced that she'd be coming HERE too!... doesn't ask if it's ok or if we are busy just says she'll be here.
7. Another cousin just wrote and is coming to Seattle SUNDAY and wants to get together.
Other than mom inviting herself I know none of this is bad. We should be happy and glad that we have "people"... but the whole thing just makes me tired and grumpy!!!

Go figure. I like to circulate among people and have friends, but I like my alone time too. When I've had enough of a group of people, I want to leave.........NOW dammit! Not when someone else is ready for me to leave.
