SAUSAGE CHEESE ROLL
10 oz. sharp cheese, grated
1 lb. sausage, browned and drained (I use Jimmy Dean's Hot)
3 c. Bisquick
3/4 c. cold water
Add cheese to Bisquick. Add water, and mix as for biscuits. Knead a few times.
Roll out to 16x20 inches on a lightly floured board.
Spread sausage evenly.
Roll as for jelly roll. Slice crosswise. (I firm up the roll in the freezer to make slicing neater)
Grease cookie sheet and place slices on sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 15 minutes.
let stand at room temperature about 15 minutes.
These are great for brunch.
