One of my fave old diners in Toledo are celebrating 75 years of service today.

I'm going to watch the Woodstock film shortly.
I've seen it many times, it never gets old.
Th Warden & I watched it on every 8/15 - I don't follow the tradition any more...
Just ain't the same with out my partner in crime ...
BTW... We had to leave our car by the side of the road on the NY State Thruway...
When we got back to our car four days later, it had been broken into... Nothing
in there to steal, but it cost me a vent window...
I found a relatively new documentary last night.
It was a lot of commentary by Kornfeld and Lang, John Sebastian, et al.
Ty's driving "The Beast" today, in Michigan - picking up a dead semi..
I forgot tonight was the car show, live band and BBQ, plus free back pack giveaway for kids starting school.
I can hear the band.
Of course it's right next door lol
It's going on where I work, a fundraiser.

My friend, neighbour and former co-worker, April- recently took on the responsibility of loving and caring for the cat of a woman who recently passed away.
She gave Honey a bath the other night.

I don't know what it is with me and cats lately, but this little one keeps showing up.
Yesterday I gave it a whole can of tuna in a bowl on my porch.
It ate half, then disappeared.

They were at our fair last week. Our neighbor Lulu and her husband went.
Probably not all the original members.
I know Terry Kath passed away and Peter Cetera virtually ruined their sound before he went solo.

She's the one who I often share food with, when I make a lot of anything.
She used to be a pharmacist at Walgreen's, but now that she's retired, she got a job part time at a Florist in Wauseon.
As I was walking back from my trek at the park, she came outside and asked if I'd like a piece of pecan pie.
Of course!
I'll show the pie in the dinner thread lol
