This evening is her quilting groups big meeting, pot luck, and turn in quilts for the show next week. They are allowed two quilts and doesn't matter how long ago they made them. Her second quilt is a queen size, cross stitch she started in 1973 when we were first married. She finished it in 77 when I was a dorm director in college. She had her quilt thingy set up in our storage room in the dorm basement and would get it out when there were no students. When it was finished she gave it to her mother and got it back when her mother passed away in 86. I’ll get a picture of it later.
 
We have a quilt that my Grandma and mom made when mom was young. It was never finished. Grandma gave the pieces to Nancy. Mickey, my brother, said he’d take it to the ladies in Kalona, Iowa to finish it, which he did, but then Mickey being Mickey, kept it. He finally sent it to Nancy right when he was getting ill and downsizing.
