We have family coming in from Canada for a Dec 11 wedding. Hence the tree went up this weekend.

Let's see yours.

Wow!

Adillo and mhend, your trees are PERFECT!!! Are they both real?

Lee

No, mine's not real. I didn't want the mess from the needles this year and with the artificial tree, there is no water bowl for the cat to play in. :)

My tree is not real. It takes DW 3 days to put it up. She claims that there is so much on it that a real tree would not support it all.

She has stuffed birds on it We have two bird dogs, that was an issue when they were younger. One year she put a bird in the tree that chirped, we almost lost the tree before I convinced her to take it out.

I have that same white St. Nick, Andy. I prop him up on a plate display holder and sit him on a table. One of my favorite decorations.

up but not decorated....I am waiting for UPS to deliver some more LED lights, not enough on the tree as you can see:biggrin:...it is a cut tree from a local Christmas tree farm..

You picked a beauty, Beth! I love those long needles!

Bet your house smells wonderful!

Lee

Beth - Beautiful tree.

Qsis - Our problem is / was that bird dogs by instinct pursue, well, birds. Bear has been caught walking off with the stuffed birds that he can reach. He also loves balls of all kinds and gets very surprised when the glass ones pop in his mouth.

Beth, what a perfect tree!

Andy, that is why we always have a smaller tree that sits on a table. Of course, that doesn't keep the cats from hijacking various ornaments, but at least the dogs can't reach it.

BEAUTIFUL trees!! Ours will be a real tree as usual since I convince hub that real was much nicer (that was 25 years ago). Our problem was the girls when they were little walking away with the ornaments!!

My wife with help from our 3 yr old grand daughter put up this tree last week.

I've had a cut/live/real tree every year of my life. But when the time comes, I predict I will happily switch over to an artificial tree....will even probably be checking them out at the after Christmas sales this year.:thumb:

We have a "mini-tree" up now. I'll have to try to remember to snap a photo.

We really aren't decorating too much, since none of the the Christmas get togethers are at our house this year. :D

Well, I finally got the tree up. Not much else is decorated yet. I couldn't seem to get a very clear picture of the tree. I tried both close up and at a distance and this seems to be the best of the bad pics.

I saw some of these fantastic photos on Facebook! So lovely, VB!

That ping pong-ball snowman has such a JOYOUS expression on his cute little face! LOL!

Lee

We FINALLY got the tree done. First we decorated the outside, then the bedroom tree, then the guest room tree, then the bathroom decorations (yes, a small tree), then the house, and finally the tree.

Our tree is 10 feet tall, so it is very narrow - a slimline - or else it would just take up too much floor space.

It's mostly decorated with birds, berries & flowers.
