Ohhh-----Emmmm------Geeeeee

Through Roku, we get an internet radio channel (called Pandora) that lets you pick a song and then builds a Station of similar songs. DW......for SOME reason......made a Bee Gees channel today. Here's what I came home to....and it is STUCK IN MY HEAD!!! :yum:

OUCH! Haha

Recently VH1 had a countdown of the top 100 Rock songs. Welcome to the Jungle was one on the list. Wouldn't have been one of my picks, but the two (above songs) from Axel stuck in my head.

As long as we're going back to the old stomping grounds!

Ahhh...Slaughter! This was always my favorite Slaughter song...I was in a bar in Nashville a few months ago with my husband. We were one of a handful of people in there. Then, in comes this group of people - bodyguards, etc. Then in walks Vince Neil - apparently Motley Crue had a show that night and they were staying in our hotel. I wasn't star struck, really didn't care. But then, I kept looking at another man that was with them - trying to place him. Suddenly I realize it's MARK SLAUGHTER. Almost came unglued. :) He was a HUGE part of my developmental years. LOL! Needless to say, my husband and I decided to stay and have a few more drinks.

Just another couple of faves...always find myself listening to Nick Drake when I'm headed to the beach

And nothing better than Jeff Buckley...

If you've seen Fisher's Moms son Nick, you might be reminded (as I am) of Chris Cornell. I LOVE Chris Cornell. Hey FM, post a Nick pic (with long hair).....and have him lip sync for us!!

Chris Cornell is on my bucket list...would have loved to see Soundgarden as a whole, but I will take what I can get. :)

Oh my! I must be getting old! Anyone remember Woody Guthrie & Pete Seger? I have Alice's Restaurant on my iPod - the 18 minute version.

A trip? 'Don't Crush That Dwarf, Hand Me the Pliers" - Firesign Theater.

I don't know how to put those links here, but you can watch it on youtube. All 4 parts take about an hour. In my day, an hour lasted about 3 minutes! :whistling: Or sometimes it lasted all night.

It's odd how odd changes over the years. Here's stuff that I like that get's you looked at sideways these days.

WOW! I think I need Fisher's Mom's stash.

That was the opening scene. I had most of their albums once upon a time. Somehow, they all made sense.

I think I'll have to spend an evening listening again. FM?

Oh, oh! Sounds like a party! Got room for another??? I make a wicked Flaming Dr. Pepper!

This is also on my iPod. It was our anthem. I guess it was more about the words and the message than the graphics.

(I copied what you did in your post. I hope I did this right)

Another of the same genre.

Bob Dylan's son, Jakob, did a nice job on this in the 90s.

Pete Seger in the 50's making a commentary on the early suburbs. Prophetic.
