Mortal Kombat Movie – Them Song.

Back in 96, I went to a martial arts tournament, and one of the categories was Black Belt Free-Style Music Katas. They basically made up their own Katas to the music of their choice. I saw some awesome stuff that day. I’ve always loved the techno beats for martial arts and working out. Just hearing this song again makes me want to get up and move!

Another favorite from that day was 2 Unlimited’s – Tribal Dance. If you actually listen to either of these (and I won’t blame you if you don’t :lol:) you’ll see the they both have similar beats. Made for some awesome Bo and Kama katas.

Hey, Smoke.........
how about this picker ?
Later, he morphed into the ghost of Hendrix............

LT, you must have the same make & model wayback machine as I do!! Hog Rush was a staple of my diet in the 70's & 80's. Frank M never really got the credit he should of.

I remember a press release back in the day stating that Frank Marino was originally a drummer, but OD'd on Acid, and when he woke up he was a guitar virtuoso!(back in those days we believed anything!) Not exactly the kind of thing a budding, and impressionable 18 year old guitarist needed to hear............

(sniffs and wipes away a tear) man I miss the old days!

Believe this or Not;

I once attended a concert at the Tranton War Memorial Building;
....... Queen , Kansas, (unknown at the Time), and Mahogany Rush,
THREE DOLLARS !! (Trenton State college Student Price)

I remember somebody saying " Electric Violoin ?? Fer Chrissake; let's go burn one !"

Haven't had any recipes to post (but I'm makin that Bummus soon and I'll post pics). Instead, I'll just post some musica vallenata.

While we're on the subject, how about one of the most successful covers ever? (apologies to Little Eva, wherever she may be!)
