It's Sunday 9/27 What's cookin?

I'm undecided. I think it may be breakfast for dinner. Pancakes, eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns, toast. Plans may change as the day goes on...........
 
Nothing's cookin' yet, especially in the idea department.
I should probably finish off that pasta, chicken, mushroom thing I made the other night, but I've got a taste for something red, like meatball and sausage sandwiches, or chili.
I think I'll whip up some of Sass' smokey sardine dip for the games.
 
at DWs request ...
beef tenderloin with a herb rub ..
some kind of gravy to go with it ..
mac and cheese ..
foil packet taters ..
deviled eggs ..
green beans cooked to with bacon ...
garlic bread ..
and cup cakes ..
might whip up some chicken and rice soup too ..
 
I"m going to try my second attempt to make ribs with Sass's Autumn corn bake to accompany
 
I just finished a big plate of that pasta with some garlic bread.
Now I'm thinking tonight it looking more like "Americanized" tacos. In a hard shell of course ;^)

Don't know if we'll be eating the brisket or homemade stuffed shells. DW and I went to an Italian specialty shop and picked up a bunch of stuff. One is freshly made ricotta. Some different imported canned tomatoes and olive oils.
 
I'm cooking this afternoon since I feel like I was robbed of a whole day, yesterday.

Breaded chicken cutlets, baby peas, spanish rice and tossed salad. I may make bananas foster for dessert.

and...I'm drinking a tequila manhattan:clap:

I LOVE those Italian specialty stores! If I could, I'd buy everything in it, lol :wink:
 
I hear you, Barb. But that's about it between here and San Antonio. (Maybe I should just stay here since there are no safe food sources between here and home....)

I was going to make chicken soup... I got home from work a little early....
But I'm too tired from the last minute bonfire we threw together last night and there's still plenty of leftovers (and beer!) from that.
:)
 
I hate Whoppers. They never sit well with me, but that angus thing, or their version of the bacon swiss burger is pretty good. Or maybe it's MacDonalds that has its version of BK's specialty burger...

It looks like chicken and dumplings here.

:biggrin: I love BK Whoppers. That's what we had for lunch today. Had a BOGO coupon :brows:.
 
I like the taste, they just give me heartburn or something after I eat one if I have to do anything... like move.
