I am always you for creative things like that. I have no experience with uber goop. As long as it can take the heat and water, you should be golden. I might have used a bit of acetone to see if i could get the existing rubber to be somewhat sticky.

Good idea, and dang it I have the acetone, just didn't think to do that. I am a little worried that the caps might loosen from the high heat, but we'll see.
