Just taking it easy today. I planned to mow this morning and fix a couple of sagging gates but it has rained most of the day.

We're going out for a steak tonight for my birthday.

Introduction. Hello from Louisiana!

A lil about me.. I live in southern Louisiana and love to cook, hobbies are deer hunting and fishing and anything in the great outdoors. Y'all need any authentic cajun recipes just ask!

Since you offered :mrgreen:, I would love to know how to make a rice dressing/stuffing like Hebert's uses to stuff his de-boned chickens, either shrimp or crawfish.

Sorry if that is not considered authentic, but I associate it with Cajun cooking because for a while we had to drive to Maurice, La to get the darn things.

I love Cajun food, so maybe share a few of your favorite recipes too.
