I just wanted to ask—does anyone here have a go-to dish or treat they like to make for their mom on Mother’s Day? I’m already thinking ahead to next year and would love some new ideas. I usually bake something sweet, but I’m open to trying something savory if it feels special enough.

How about something like a mix of sweet and savory tarts, etc. Like a high tea.

I cooked brunch for Mom and sent a bunch of her favorite peonies to her place since I couldn’t be there in person. Went with flowers delivery and it worked out great—she was surprised and loved them. I think small things like that really make the day feel special.
