Good info Johnny. And accurate from my experience.

I bought 1/2 cow last September and still have a quite a bit left in our freezer. Course I had some of the previous 1/2 left when I bought in Sept, but I had ordered this one a year ahead so I had to buy then. When covid broke out I bought as I was afraid of shortages. That was in March of 2020. Over the past year we have leaned more to chicken and fish than use used to so I still have beef left in the freezer.

Do you mind telling us about how much a half a cow costs?

My bud in Nebraska sells his beef $4.50 a pound, cut wrapped, and frozen. He raises Angus and are grass fed, then finished with corn. I just don’t have the room or I would get a half.
