Easy Crockpot Stuffed Peppers

In they go..
I've made all the filling per the recipe, only used 3 peppers.
Also, did not add the salt, everything else had enough sodium, also used 1 c of beef broth in place of the water or chicken broth.
I've got quite a lot of the filling left.
I put that in the freezer for a future recipe.
Zucchini boats maybe?

I'll add the cheese once these are done, recover, then allow it to melt.

I don't have a crock pot, so. I cook/brown the meat, the chopped pepper tops, and onion. Then add cooked rice. If I have homemade salsa, I add some to the cooked filling. Then I stuff into peppers, cover with plain tomato sauce. I cook in microwave or oven till peppers are tender. I used to fill peppers with raw meat and rice, but by the time the peppers were tender, thy looked like pantyhose or socks that lost the elastic.
 
Well this filling is actually pretty liquid as it's made, which is why I could add the raw rice.
It's not real soupy, but it has enough liquid to allow the rice to cook.
As I said, I've never made them in a crockpot before, but I think they'll come out perfect.
