🌹 Still trying to get it right.
Do you play online games? I am play online games and would love to have people to share the fun and laughs with. It is hard to find pleasant people to join. If you do play games and would like to form and online gaming group/circle to play games with please state which games and where you play. I am available just about 24/7.

I play:

  1. Slingo
  2. Backgammon
  3. Uno
  4. Spades
  5. Canasta
  6. Collapse
  7. Pop-It
  8. Bubble Pop
  9. Some continuing FaceBook games
Due to sleepless nights caused by insomnia and/or pain issues I play games when not posting and reading recipes, posting pics and BSing on cooking forums.

I am sure I have probably missed a few.

I've got accounts at Pogo and a similar site I've forgotten the name. Yahtzee is fun at Pogo. And I've burned more than a few hours at Armor Games!

I LOVE RL Yahtzee and play on my cell phone app. Is Pogo still free?

Last I checked it was. My account still works, and it's a free one!

Naturally, they have perks for pay memberships, but the free stuff is good enough for me. I haven't been by there in a little over a month now....about time to head back over and play some more Yahtzee. It's online Yahtzee, and they group you with up to 7 other people so you're all playing against each other. It's really adictive! :thumb:

They've got some good word games there too like Word Womp which is fairly addictive as well.

I used to like book worm. Can you choose who you play with? I play Yahoo games and you can choose who can sit at the table if you create a game room.

I play occasionally at Boxerjam - I like the SAM or Strike a Match games, which are a combination of trivia and quick thinking...I like to pretend that it will ward off any impending senility. They are all multiplayer games, so there is some competition as well. The games are free - try them!

I have never heard of that one Karen. Can you choose who you play with? I play Yahoo games and you can choose who can sit at the table if you create a game room.

I play Bejeweled Blitz on FB. I was completely addicted for a while, but lately it has lessened it's grip on me. :) I love crosswords and word games - Scrabble is good.

I said other. I cannot say that I do not like them. I just do not have the attention span for games. Give a piece of code or a computer that does not work and I will be happy for hours.

we get into fierce battles of jenga and backgammon at times. also war, gin rummy, spades, and memory picture card games.

we stopped playing scrabble because all we had were spanish/english and german/english dictionaries and dw doesn't speak either, so we'd get into a lot of fights over it. :)

i fondly remember playing poker with my dad and siblings when we were young. we'd use roasted peanuts or pistacios as chips. the hard part was not eating all of your winnings.

lol, oopsie! i didn't realize that this thread was for online games. i answered for real games, incarnate. oh well.

Would you play backgammon online in Yahoo games with me during the long hours of the night if we are both available? I am really looking for people to play backgammon, canasta & spades online.

Like Andy, I had to choose other. My brother turned me on to the best online golf game ever. I'm hesitant to even mention it here as I can loose posts on the forums because folks can easily get addicted to this.

It allows you to meet up and play other players of your choosing, and it is quite challenging for us folks up north who cannot golf year round. I have not played it for over a year, because once I got going I would not want to stop, it does not fit well with running forums. LOL.
Shot Online is what it's called.

I see they offer more games now but I've only tried the golf, and I always played and earned my points without paying any money. You have the option to pay and get better equipment which will get you better scores sometimes.

I chose skill, but the site I use the most has a lot of Time Management and Real Time Strategy games. It lets you play them for free try, and then for a nominal fee or you can download and purchase. A lot of these are children's games and others are adult style.

Sounds like BigFish.

I WOULD play, but don't. If I did, I would waste WAY TOO MUCH time playing.
I'd be one of those guys who lost it all to Worlds of Warcraft....
Or shooting bubbles or bejeweled or or or...

So all I play is the Windows classic Solitare.

I will play Windows classic Solitaire somewhat. I love Bejeweled 2, which we own a copy of.

If I'm actually going online to play games, I typically run a search for online versions of classic 80's coin-op video arcade games.

PeppA is addicted to Pogo. I have a strong distaste for what she does. She runs at least one group of folks, all registered, paying, users of Pogo, and runs tournaments. Normally, I wouldn't have a problem, but when you're down to one computer, dail-up, and limited time to get online, and you're told that, "Not now, I've got a tourney running." Well, needless to say, I've had many a discussion with her about this, but she insists.

Hopefully, I'll be able to afford a new computer or two here sometime soon, as well as Dish or DirectTV satellite internet, which is the only high-speed available out here in the sticks.

now THAT'S an idea!!! Woo hoo!

(THere was one Star Wars game in a college bar... you CAN fly an X Wing and hit the
Death Star vent stone drunk, oh yes you can.....)

Wife has a Pogo account which I use.

I'll occasionally play solitaire and word games.

Funny thing is I like cross words but I don't like online crosswords.

Playing against on-line opponents irritates the hell out of me. I keep wanting to "chat" : Hello, are you there?

I am wishing for some friendly people to play canasta, spades and backgammon with on Yahoo Games which are free.

oh man, that was a great game. when i was in college, we used to go down to this chinese take out place on 242nd and broadway, just under the northern terminus of the #1 subway train, with a roll of quarters and play for hours. you'd play until you were dripping with sweat and could barely uncurl your knuckles from the x-wing steering thing.

oh, peeps. sure, if i'm having a quiet night, i'd love to play backgammon with you. send me the url of the game site.

Ok come here and let me know what time you may be available. We can meet here first then take it from there.

I play a few different games on line. They change from time to time.

Luxor
Bubble town
Text twist (& word games)

I want to play Frogger. LOL
