Do you buy yourself something nice during the holidays?

This time of year I'm still reeling from paying the property taxes; but, yes I try to do a little something "girly" for me.

i use an Otterbox defender series for my iphone, you can also get them for the itouch i believe.

they are bulky but you can throw them against a wall and you wont break the iphone/itouch

Interesting, I had the same things on my list. LOL!
 
I almost always buy something I want while shopping for everyone else. This year the DH took me to Macys for their kitchen appliance sale. He was looking at a new crockpot for me which we got, but then I spotted a nice sized deep fryer. :chef: There is only the three of us so I don't need a big one. Then I find out that he had an ulterior motive! He wants me to cook cocktail meatballs with sauce, chili, potato salad, and deviled eggs. I've cooked for the office party before so it was not a total surprise. On top of that he convinced the boss to pay me for my efforts. That's not hard to take. I was just going to make the meatballs, potato salad, and eggs but several people were unhappy that I wasn't making the chili this year. So that got tossed in as well.
 
Being that most of our birthdays and our anniversary is this time of year, I have to say yes, I do. Another reason is that there are such good sales this time of year, and such a lot of great things to choose from.

I look forward to getting "The 12 Days of Xmas" coffee, for sure. I usually buy more than one box, too.
