My canned pickles taste good but are soft. I was afraid of that.
I got outvoted with my refrigerator dill pickles - nancy is making fermented dills plus her lime sweet pickles.

There is water in the baggies to keep the pickles in the brine. Her invention…Fermented dills sound interesting. What's with the baggies?

This is green food coloring.The garlic in my pickle jar turned blue/green. Says that's just fine. It's due to chemical reaction. Never happened before.
It looks like I wont be making my dill pickles again this year.
While I was gone yesterday Nancy canned her sweet pickles and said they were the best she ever made due to good quality cucumbers. This is a recipe from her great grandmother, born in Sweden.

I know! i’m afraid to ask were she will put them. Some will be gifts. Today she made sweet pickle relish with the leftovers.That is a lot of pickles!
