Today's kitchen "kill time" project, fooling with that Apple Cider Doughnut recipe and making some tweaks. I'm thinking a hunk of caramel in the middle of the cupcakes would be a good addition. Buttercream frosting w/ brown sugar & cinnamon. The plated one would get some kind of sticky toffee...

Getting ready to fool around in the kitchen. Gonna make some apple cider doughnut cupcakes. Take out tomorrow from my local Mama Chang, a Peter Chang restaurant. Rib roast at some point. It's been drying for a few days in the back of the fridge.

You won't be disappointed, they're incredible units. Very punchy too.

As a Bermudian, I'll have to give this a go. Bermuda Rum Cake is a staple.
