    Tinucci's Newport, MN

The caterer involved in the Randy Moss/Minnesota Vikings controversy. I have had many a lunch there when on business trips to my employer's main offices. Their BBQ beef ribs are awesome also suggest the cream of chicken and wild rice soup an area specialty.

    Canadice Grapes

Not exactly from my garden, I picked 10# of Canadice seedless grapes from the nursery stock vineyard. We grow grape plants for the vines, not the fruit. 48 hours in the dehydrator yields about 2# of chewy raisin goodness much more flavorful than the store variety.

    Outdoor Oven

One of the trade offs of having a place in the Oregon country was parting with my Wolf Range. Fortunately, I found a buyer that will appreciate and work it as hard as I did. However, being in the country opens another door, outdoor cooking. I am looking at various plans for a wood fired oven...

Random Picture Thread - Part Deux

Awesome Ponch! We had a black Lab that thought the lawn sprinkler was his own personal water park. I could not turn on the hose without him barking at the door.

    G/N B/N

Good news is we are getting close to closing the deal on our Orygun house. Bad news is the kitchen is small and there's no room for the 36" Wolf range. I just posted it on Craig's List <sniff>

What's cooking (or not) Sunday, May 23?

Showing the house this afternoon. This house selling stuff is stressful so I whipped up a batch of from scratch macaroni & cheese to toss in the oven post-showing. While we're in realtor imposed exile, I'll grab some sausages to toss on the grill.

What will be in the '10 garden?

A friend just gifted me a 15# sack of Austrian Crescent heirloom potatoes. He said they needed to be eaten soon which isn't a problem. However, me thinkst a few will hold until mid March and hit the MGJ garden plot. Anyone else been fighting back the winter weather by leafing through seed catalogs?
