We ate early because I was going out. Just had some stuff to use up. Some shrimp that had been in the freezer too long. A zucchini that I had to use. Made a stir fry over rice. Shrimp, zucchini, peppers, onions, garlic, ginger, a quick sauce.

Broke the Lid, and the unit was getting really
cruddy; It's been with me since the stoned Age !
Yesterday, I went to NH's White Mountains to visit my friend, Allan, for an overnight. We did a bit of mushrooming (found zip!), a bit of shopping at a local farm stand and Lee's Chocolates in Plymouth, NH (got a box of handmade truffle chocolates for my friend, Jan's, birthday at the end of this month, and picked up steaks at the supermarket.
I grilled the NY strips on Allan's new Weber gas grill with two searing burners, Allan steamed the corn and made the salad (I didn't realize he moved when I snapped his photo until I got home!)
Another lovely visit with a long-time friend!

🌹 Still trying to get it right.
Last night I had a small portion (two small scoops and three small thin grilled chicken strips) of Caesar salad from the salad bar. First time purchase. Was going to have for dinner last night, but still don't feel so great. So it may be breakfast or lunch. Hope it's good. Probably won't be able to taste much. That may be a good thing. LOL
I've got some chicken brining in the fridge. I'll fry it and then finish it in the oven. We'll have that with some taters and some white COTC too. It has been a busy day in the kitchen. Baked a cake for the puppers to have as treats. Stan had a dental procedure and needs easy to chew stuff for a bit.

We enjoy those pot pies. From the movie Chicken Run, we call them "Mrs. Tweedy's Chicken Pot Pies."
