What's On The Plates Sunday January 26- Saturday February 1 2025

Brunch late.
Blueberry Eggos and Vermont maple sausages.
If I'm hungry after I get off tonight, I'll just have popcorn.

I made pasta Alfredo. The Italian way. No cream. No soup mix. Just butter, cheese, and pasta.

Then I went and screwed with it. Tossed in a small bit of garlic, some cooked chicken, and a handful of spinach.

The Alfredo was great, and the additions made it a meal.

Dinner was -
Deconstructed wontons (filling meatballs dropped into the broth to cook). Added to the broth - wonton wrappers (cut into strips), green onions, snow peas, tiny baby Bok choy, bean sprouts, soy sauce, toasted sesame oil, hot chili sesame oil, and crunchy noodles.
(Dropping the meatballs into broth to cook was easier on my arthritis than putting in the wrappers and tasted great)
