This is what my family and I look like!

Milestone for Jules.
86 pounds gone!
Before (sometime during covid).
And on the 4th.
She's a nurse who dresses unlike the rest of us ๐Ÿ˜‚
The residents love it.

This past Veteran's Day, our facility chose a resident spotlight .
I adore this man! โค๏ธ
First time meeting him, I said - do you know who you sort of remind me of?
He raised his hand and said, I get that all the time Lol ๐Ÿ˜
Our Johnny.

Beautiful woman! And with my beloved Tom Jones!

Lee
Saw her in the Peppermint Lounge... I asked for a dance, got turned down
Saw her coming in again the following Saturday, waited for her & her friends
(all with heavy make-up and the same Red hair) Asked for a dance, she said okay,
but she left her coat on ! I was back home on the next Saturday, but the Saturday following,
the Bouncer, who knew me by name, said to me as I came in; Where were you last week?
... some gorgeous Redhead asking about you..." LOL ! My heart went pitter-pat !
Later, as she and her roommate came in , I saw her scanning the room......
I was friends with the Band, so I grabbed Tommy on his break
and asked to sing one or two... no biggie, I'd done it often before.
I sang two Ray Charles tunes, "What'd I Say" and a Blues number called
"I've Got News for You".. She was waiting for me as I climbed down from the stage,
asked me if I had anything left for a dance... the rest, as they say, is History...

I should mention that we went on to win Dance contests wherever we participated
over the next 7 years.

I should also mention that the Band I'm talking about can be seen during the opening
credits of Lemon & Matthou's "the Odd Couple".

I might also mention that my first invited meal at her apartment was a Swanson
Meat Loaf TV Dinner , and she hammered it ! ... probably told ya THAT tidbit before....
Thank you for your attention, and I'll be happy to take a few questions ....

BTW, Ruthie's roommate at the time is the gal next to her in the Tom Jones pic...
