I'm getting ready to run the vacuum. My floors are in bad need of it.

Last night we had homemade ham and bean soup. I always add a little bit of potatoes (this time red-skinned), carrots, and onion. I used 3 different types of beans. Made some southern style sweet cornbread with buttermilk. It was all yummy. Made some homemade blueberry pancakes for breakfast...

That was leftover chicken Bryan from Carrabba's, which is wood-grilled chicken breast with goat cheese and basil, topped with a sun-dried tomato lemon-butter and white wine sauce. I served it over the leftover fettuccine Alfredo and mixed in some spinach and arugula and extra fresh basil.

It did not disappoint. We had our two trio entrees with a bottle of chianti. Delicious. They also had a "buy 1 entree take 1 for $10" so we both got an extra to take. I had a $10 rewards on my loyalty account plus $95 gift certificate so the total bill was only $25 plus tip. Here's mine:

I have acquaintances in Europe and Mexico who make fewer grammatical errors than some people who have English as their first language...actually, their only language! And man do they know how to butcher it!!!! People who use "peek" instead of "pique", such as, "That really peeked my curiosity"...

My phone keyboard changes words on me all the time, slows me down. I hate it. "NO, that's not what I meant to say!!!!" I've seen some rather funny stuff online about autocorrect texts that were sent to family and friends...

I don't mind writing things out in email, but I actually will use some shorthand when texting, at least with my kids anyway, because that's where I learned it. I dislike typing on my phone keyboard even though I have a big ole' Samsung phone. My fingers may be small but I am still clumsy and...

My middle aged female neighbor says and writes in text "prolly" instead of "probably".

I made a huge overstuffed omelet for breakfast for hubby and I to share. Filling consists of peppers, onion, garlic, cremini mushrooms, bacon, spinach, some leftover shredded chicken, havarti and cheddar cheese. Yummy!

I love, love, love smoked salmon on bagels. I have found that making a mixture of the cream cheese, capers, shallot, and smoked salmon keeps it all from falling off the bagel. I like topping it with fresh ripe avocado slices and sprinkles of everything bagel seasoning. Yum!

We are having bacon cheeseburgers with crinkle fries later. I made homemade sugar-free ketchup. It tastes good. Different but good!

Those tomatoes are delicious, I've had them!
