Oh, that sounds like a culinary adventure….

This was a very good Syrah and was perfect with the spaghetti tonight.

The Italian corn/rice pasta is pretty good. There was lots of sauce leftover and will have meatball sandwiches tomorrow night.

Nancy made pickled red onions using leftover brine from pickled asparagus making. She added hot peppers to the brine so they have a nice tang.

I made gravy this afternoon-: two quarts of our home canned tomato sauce, two cans tomat paste, cup of merlot, pound of hamburger, one large onion, crimini mushrooms, herbs, garlic, and salt.

I’m making spaghetti with meat sauce…

I’m up early having coffee then will get started making chili to take into church‘s soup kitchen. While I’m at it I’ll make a marinara for dinner this evening.

I‘m a fervent recycler and try to pick up bottles, etc. other idiots throw out.

The fermented dill pickles are growing on me but will never be as good as the refrigerator dills.
