Good stuff SK! :thumb: Why do I have a feeling you are a bass player? :D

I will announce the new forum 1st right here in this thread so you all will have a shot at being in the 1st 25 members. It'll be a few weeks / maybe months but it will happen.

Actually Doc, my resume reads "Guitar Slinger" (and Master of ceremonies!) but in my 30+ years of gigging, I've picked up a bass more than once! Now I spend my days in my small but well equipped studio waiting for my muse! (she was supposed to be here at 9:30, don't know what happened!) A collabrative effort between Dandiamond and myself is in the works.........

As far as the new forum is concerned, I am stoked!! Anything I can do to help?

Sass, please type the name of the artist and the title of the song at a minimum for each video. I need content in each post, something besides a youtube link.
Thanks!!!!!!

Watching Sass's April Wine video prompted me to take a drive in the wayback machine. This is my all-time favorite band (UFO) featuring my all time favorite guitarist, the blonde bomber, the mad german, Micheal Schenker. Mr. Schenker is the reason I'm sitting in a room full of guitars today. He's the closet I've ever come to having a "hero" (with the exception of Wile E Coyote of course!) Please forgive the audio quality as well as the outfits-its from 1978 after all. This is their biggest hit, "Too hot to handle"

Don't know why, but I woke up with The Cranberries on my mind this morning. You know, its funny, this song is now considered an "oldie"-gosh, where did the time go? This song still gives me goose bumps-maybe its the melody, maybe its Delores O'riordans voice, maybe the chord changes, maybe all of the above, but "Linger" will always be a favorite of mine!

Hey Jeff, now you got me thinkin' about obscure Canadian bands. Are these guys more well known on your side of the fence than they are stateside? I see Gordie Johnson guesting a lot with other people, but no one around here seems to know who they are. This is Big Sugar, the song is "Girl Watcher" from the album "Heated". One of the best albums I've bought in the last 15 years. (and that is a lot of albums!) Forgive the sound quality....thats Rock n' Roll!!
