I had a small burger (no picture) and a salad (arugula, iceberg, heirloom cherry tomatoes, and kalamata olives. Dressed simply with kalamata EVOO, red wine vinegar, house blend seasoning, and everything bagel seasoning).

O

One of my favorite olives…
Yea. My favorite also. I usually rinse them off, and add my own good olive oil. and a little pepper flakes, and minced fine garlic.
Those olives come with a true story:
~ around 1949, Uncle Tony the Plumber loved the olives so much, he ate 2 lbs of them.
He cramped up so bad, they called the ambulance, and in the hospital, they pumped out his stomach.
The nurse said she first was alarmed, and thought he had eaten Coal. LOL.

I never remember eating dry cured olives before going to Cora in France and then Tunisia. The Metropolitan Market is the only place I can get them now. How long do you let the olives marinate in your concoction before eating?

Happy fathers day to all the dads out there.
We are ready to grill burgers, and hot dogs. Tina made a pot of meatballs in tomato sauce.
Macaroni salad; potato salad ..... ( again, she made ), Baked beans, and chili sauce.
I just took my gas-x and enzyme pills to help me process the beans.
DD made a white cake with butter cream icing.
