When you go Mary, try to go to Mrs. Wilkes' Dining Room (It used to be called Mrs. Wilkes' Boardinghouse) for lunch. It's only open from 11-2 monday thru friday but the food is true southern food (I think it's much better than the Lady and Sons). The tables are for 10 so you are seated with a bunch of strangers but they won't be strangers for long. Just be sure to get there early because there is ALWAYS a long line (we waited 2 hours last time)
