If the timing is not right, then I'm glad it was negative. Stress wreaks havoc on my stomach too. Hope it gets better soon.

i figure it's stress, too. i almost instantaneously get stomach ails with anxiety; & tomorrow school is starting again. very unusual for me to stress 'bout school, though i am fretting.

my stomach usually feels like i have a volcano erupting due to stress from my hub and in turn my kids. i sometimes drink gingerale that i nuke just till warm. it seems to calm the tummy at times. feel better sweetie

thank you, i appreciate that. gingerale is very easy on an upset stomach! i actually went to drinking warm alcohol today i was so anxious. so i'm drinking plenty of other fluids & took my potassium pill. i'm gonna mix a batch of gatorade- we own this huge tub of gatorade powder. i'm just so afraid of this new Chef- my other Chef said he kinda demads respect, & that i love, i respect my Chefs very much, though i understand he'll fail people on thier final practical. if i fail a class, i'd just weep. that'd ruin my funding for school.
& i would love to see you get well!

try the ginerale, gatorade really isn't very good for you. it's mostly hype PR that has made it so popular.

i need pedialyte, too, so i'm gonna see if jake'll bring me 'ale & pedialyte pops. yuck, that stuff tastes like salty sugary kool-aid. ugh!
what's not so great 'bout gatorade? it's a couple of calories &electrolytes, at least.

all you need is electrolites which are salt and sugar - have a sour pickle and some gingerale!! they work wonders!! salt, sugar and potasium!!

everytime i try to eat something today someone decides it's their right to shovel shit at me!! so i haven't eaten yet today.

it's 6:14PM do you know when you will be able to eat?

acid tomato sauce may help your tummy for some reason plain sauce and cheese pizza ALWAYS stayed down when i was preggie. nothing else except chinese would stay put.

Well...........there might be something good come out of this. That doesn't make you feel any better right now, but....

Crap, crap, crap, Stacy. Was it a fairly small amount of pot? Cuz sometimes they will be pretty lenient with young folks and a small amount. Our jails are pretty full in Texas so they are trying to conserve space for the really bad guys.

No, he won't learn. this is the second PI for him. Now he's in by himself because his friends have jobs and were able to bail out.

I don't know how much Terry. He didn't say. He just sounded down when I told him that I couldn't help him. Then having to hear, you know who start cussing and playing his holier than thou attitude although he has been the same, even worse!!!

I wish he wouldn't be a jerk right this minute - your boy is in jail. And even though he's OK and he won't starve or anything in there, it's still a horrible feeling to think about your boy in jail. (I think you should grind up some stink bugs to go in hubby's dinner!)

when is this country gonna wake up and realize that pot is less dangerous than alcohol! or even commercially made cigarettes!

you shouldn't go to jail for it. you should go get pizza.

my oldest is in jail. what next??

I can sure relate to this as of today. Two grandson's busted for possession of grass (couple of joints) both are adults (over 18) this morning.

My son (father of one of the grandson's) called me for help as he loaned his SUV to a friend and the tie rod broke in the middle of town. The "friend" went home and called my son to tell him about it and where the truck was. We got there in time to see it leave for the police impound yard. Now I take him to get his truck out and take it to the repair shop to find out he doesn't have insurance (wife didn't pay it this month and it was canceled) so I have to add him to mine to get it released.

So far today my son has cost me a couple of hundred bucks and hopefully I can cancel the insurance tomorrow if not my car insurance just went up from about $350 to $1060.

To top it off the medical bills just started coming in for my wife which was almost $900 for the ambulance ride (5 miles) to the hospital as well as just under $3000 for the emergency room visit. I've yet to get the bill for 5 days in the hospital, 3 day a week for blood tests for the next 8 to 12 weeks, treatment for the thyroid starts in about 5 weeks, the internist or cardiologist costs from various UK groups.

I might be filing for bankruptcy protection before this is over with. Now back to the grandsons they are sitting in jail and they best not ask me to bail them out, as I am a believer in retroactive birth control. For me it has always been true that if you are going to be stupid you better be tough, period.

I won't bore you with the every day problems such as nasty tenants that owe me money, getting a new security system, cleaning out 20 spaces by myself as well as covering the office work also since my wife isn't able too and being pulled away for 2 hours to help a 40 year old son that can't get his shit together either.

Sounds like you've got YOUR hands full too, Joe!! I'm sorry to hear you've got this all coming down at you so quickly!

Yeah, Joe, I want whatever you've been smokin' cuz you are way more mellow that I would be. You are zen-like in the face of all that mess!
