My husband does cook. He is the best cook:heart: I am the one that wants to cook for him and clean for him like in the olden days. I am a stay at home mom and i want to do this for him!

Pick a dish you want to make for your man, sweetheart, and us old folks will walk you through it, step by step, no fail (almost) guaranteed! We have awesome recipes, from simple to complex.

BTW, you will fail -- we all do from time to time. It's part of the learning process, but there are few things you can mess up so bad that they're inedible -- except burned to a crisp and too much salt or spice. Don't get down on yourself when it happens, just make a mental note so you don't repeat the error. If you're like me, it will take after about 10 or 20 times.

Alright,:yankchain: , I have an "olden days" recipe that I will post tomorrow (I hope). My husband grew up eating it, and he still loves it. It's Easy/Easy--easy to prepare, easy on the budget. And, it's very tasty.

You do know they're usually served for breakfast. If I'm cooking you breakfast, that means I prob'ly spent the night...............which could be somewhat troublesome. :blush:

Care for a burger instead? :wink:

Welcome to NCT. This is a great site. We really have a great bunch. :thumb: I love omelets too, but I make fritatas so I don't have to worry about folding them and I can get more fillings into it.

You start it on the stove, and finish it in the oven, no folding. Yummy
