I go away for a few days for sun, booze and sin...and no one sent out a search party for me?? I don't put up an iron chef submission and no one notices?????????????????????????????

Do any of you have any idea what happens to those who give me pause??? Why do you think my flower beds do so well...?? Hmm...?? what do you think I use for fertilizer??

I have great sunrise pictures from down the shore..and a few good looking plates from the cajun joint we ate at.. There's even a picture of me in the jacuzzi in our hotel room. Don't you want to see those pictures???
It's not enough that I had to get 5 phone calls from Marianne..where's the love my friends???

I was wondering about you! I noticed no Iron Chef entry and I thought you had something in mind for corn.

I was thinking about you the other day, when I realized I hadn't seen anything from you for a few days. Glad to see you were just having a good time :smile: Bring on the pix!

It was very last minute down the shore weekend. I had even begun my submission, which was to be
Corriander dusted scallops with corn sauce over chive potato hash

I made the sauce on Friday night, even prepped the potatoes and left them soaking in cool water. We got home so late on Sunday that I had no energy to cook, photograph and then put the pictures up. So, if we ever get around to scallops..hehehe.

I'll do the pictures when I get home.

Who else goes away for a weekend down the shore and sets the alarm for 5am so as not to miss the 5:40 sunrise? We took a 2 hour bike ride and donut run after that, too!
 
Sorry - it has been hectic over here - don't even notice when I go missing.

I'm sorry Vera... I was in Mexico. I didn't notice much of anything but the sun and tequila!

I can't wait til Labor Day weekend...then all you quacks will stay home and us locals can come out from hiding and socialize for a few weeks before the weather changes. lol

Let's see some food pics!

HC, that's not nice! They all come down here after Labor Day and then WE have to put up with them until spring. We don't call them quacks, we call them snowbirds.:lol:

I missed you, SS!!! I just assumed all of you have lives that include vacations and sex and dinners with friends and sex and shopping sprees and sex and parties and.....well, you get the idea. (Don't ruin my fantasy, guys. I live vicariously through all of you.)

June 29th which I allow to show by the way. I'm proud I've live to see my advanced years as the bet was I would be dead by 30.. :lol:
