Where do you Keep Your.....

Now that I think about it, it's all over the place. Some in the freezer, some in the popcorn tin I use for baking supplies, some in a baggie on a table in the living room where I snack on it ...

The term 'keep your chocolate' ranks right up there with another oxymoron I heard here once - 'leftover wine'.

I don't understand either concept. Chocolate is to eat, not keep:confused:.

If I ate all the chocolate I got for Christmas all at once, I'd be sick! And the stuff with the baking tin is unsweetened. Bleh.

Usually in my top drawer beside my computer desk, my grand daughter won't go there. It also doesn't last long here with me around one of my three real vices.

i used too freeze chocolate, but i found i ate too much without enjoying it enough. it tastes better at room temp or even a bit warm.
so now i keep it in the butter drawer in the fridge and take it out to warm up before i eat it.

My kids have absolutely NO self-control. If there's snack foods, or candy, it's GONE within a few hours.

I caught a bunch of Christmas Candy on clearance the day after Christmas. One of the things I bought was a box of Hershey's Pot of Gold at 50% off. I had to keep that (and all the other stuff) in the trunk of my car in the garage to keep the kids out of it. Since the battery is dead in the car, you can't use the button to open the trunk, and I kept the keys with me at all times.

During winter, that is a viable solution. During the heat of summer, chocolate would melt pretty quickly in a situation like that.
