What's for supper, Tuesday 9/13

Tuesday night, I was too tired from work to cook, so we got Chinese - DH had Chinese-BBQ'd ribs and I had orange chicken, both with egg rolls and pork fried rice.

I've gotten a flu shot every year for the past 15 years and the only reaction I have had is the occasional sore arm. The flu shot does not cause the flu or flu-like symptoms, except in very rare cases. I work at a medical school, and we get the shot for free in order to avoid infecting patients and other visitors to the campus. Before making a decision on this, please check the national statistics for these issues.

Getting the flu shot this year?

sorry I will still take a pass. It made me & most of the folks I know who had it sick as a dog. My Mother got the shot for 10 yrs & every time she was very sick for over a week. It is not 'only in rare cases'.. It should read Only in rare cases folks don't get sick'
The Meds that are pushed on folks today & yrs past , some are deadly.Avandia, Actos , the list is very long.I do my homework before I take any Meds now days.

Thanks anyway for the info.. :thumb:

Each and every vial of a flu vaccine contains warnings, that should be read by those receiving it.
Those contain a killed virus that will in no way cause you to become sick with the virus therein.
Coincidentally, you may come down with flu-like symptoms that are of another strain during the flu season.
That said, I did have a reaction to the vax for the first time ever in my life.
It won't stop me from getting it again next week.
I'd hate to not be protected and leave myself open to something far worse had I not.
