I have not idea--- most likely leftovers...:fridge:
btw, last night's meal came out really good! a forgotten recipe of mine!!!:yum:

Pork Loin chops with sauerkraut. with one very small size apple , I am allowed, fried in butter with cinn. & sugar free brown sugar.

No mashed pototoes :sad::sad:

Chocolate pudding cake in a mug for one. with whipped cream. :encore:

Wonderful fresh & pristine-looking Cod on sale at the market, so we'll be enjoying it sprinkled with lemon-pepper & Panko breadcrumbs, drizzled with melted lemon-butter, & baked. Sides will be fresh buttered green beans tossed with chopped fresh marjoram from the garden & a nice green salad.

There is a container of leftover chicken and noodles over mash that's going to work with me.

If all goes according to "plan"...

Open-faced grilled eggplant sandwiches on halved grilled/toasted French baguette, topped with mozzarella, fresh tomatoes and basil.

Swiss steak. We haven't had that for a very long time. When I was at Vons yesterday they had beautiful round steak on sale.

I haven't had that in wuite awhile either. How do you make it?

I dredge the steak in flour and brown it. Then I add chopped celery, chopped onion, and tomato sauce along with tomatoes. Salt and pepper of course. Sometime I'll add a little bell pepper. That's about it. This time I'll experiment by adding some garlic and Italian spice. Maybe even sneak in a bay leaf from my tree. That should add a lot more flavor.

Cut up a sirloin, seasoned it with paprika, ancho chili pwd, cumin, s&p, browned it, put it in the slow cooker, added some water to the frying pan to deglaze, poured that in. Will have tacos. I worked this afternoon and have a violin lesson to teach shortly.

Found a half slab of ribs in the freezer and a bowl of leftover mashed potatoes from Sunday in the fridge. Nuked the ribs and turned the taters into potato pancakes with onion, garlic, smoked paprika, parsley, flour, egg ans sour cream. Fried the taters in butter and steamed the ubiquitous broccoli that occupies our fridge. It was the first time making potato pancakes from mashed, and we both agree it won't be the last.

Made a kind of Spaghetti Amatriciana, but with bacon instead of pancetta.
Bacon, pepperoni, onions, garlic, white wine, mushrooms, grape tomatoes, parsley and pecorino romano cheese.
Pretty darn good!

Mommy 'T" was up and around for the first time after her cold.

I was busy tarping pallets of wood pellets we had delivered today; plus I had the windshield guy here to fix the rear view mirror and rain sensor that broke when the first attempt was made to replace the broken windshield.

DW prepped the baking dish with the (our own) frozen meatballs.
Here is the dish before the baking.

I cooked MY spaghetti in a fry pan. Norm posted that one day, and mine is always made that way.
I love starchy and al dente spaghetti.

I had mine with hot peppers and olives cured in oil.
I had two platings like this. hahahahahaha.. No Bread though!

Thanks peep!...

I didn't know the flue was starting early this year. I hear a lot of people are or have been sick with flu like symptoms.

Just watching the weather..looking for 40's for Friday Night.
Glad I got my wood pellet delivery today.

they most likely got a Flu Shot. That in itself makes you sick for 7 to 10 days with flu like symtoms. I'll take a big pass on that.

They tell you its not live but all the same makes you sick..Some will get sick not everyone. My Doc says no don't get it.

CC, last year I had a reaction for the first time ever to the flu shot.
The left side of my body was affected, weak arm and leg, ringing in the left ear and what I'd then thought was pink eye.
I just felt plain rotten, but it's important that I get the flu shot, so I will.

I got the flue shot once....I was sick in bed for a week, and then got better, and relapsed with pneumonia... Never Again!

Now at the same time DW got the same shot, and had no after effects. And she is the sick one.

Everytime I have gotten a flu shot I HAVE gotten the flu not after the shot but later in the season. I decided that if I get it I get it. One year I got it 2 times. It worked it's way through the family and back to me.

My mom was funny..
She would eat blue cheese and stinky italian moldy cheese ( I didn't like it), and she used to say,"Here is my penicillin, and this is why I don't get the flue!"

Now!...I eat the green moldy cheese!... hahahahaha....
Mom was hardly sick with a cold, and she smoked almost 3 a day. Three packs of cigarettes that is. When she died, the undertaker (Family Cousin) said her lungs were clear and pink as a new borns lungs... Go Figure...
