BTW, I decided it's seafood at a local place here, too.
What are you having chow??
Scallops, 2 minutes one side, one minute the other.... mmmm
Can't wait to see 'em! I had fried bay scallops today for lunch at Red Lobster. Those biscuits sure were good though.
beautifull plating i LOVE the garnish!!Any idea what I called them? I can't find them in my pics, but that's not what I had tonight anyway. I know I posted some scallops here not too long ago though... That's going to bug me now where they are hidden.
Tonight's seafood dinner at the "local" seafood joint. My place
First time grilling tuna. I used Fryboy's marinade, but AB's grilling technique, on the charcoal chimney, or jet engine as he called it. One minute each side. I almost hated to cut into it...

And I also grilled some shrimp, basted with Gallagher's hot sauce. And fixed some broccoli in my usual way. The sauce sloppily applied onto the tuna slices was simmered; soy, honey, lime juice, pepper flakes and cillantro.

And yes, I actually used lime juice, but cut into a lemon for a garnish! My first garnish!
that looks so wonderful and i love those pink pattern plates!!My wife and I worked together tonight and made some seasoned baked salmon with mashed potatoes and peas with a nice honey / soy sauce.
I love this dish!

you're welcome and thank you. i ran out of capers awhile back and haven't gotten more or they would have been in there. my mom would make olive sauce and white clam sauce for me on the "meatless" holidays to top my pasta because i don't like fish that much (i do like clams).Soy and honey... I love it Blues. And here I thought I came up with something.
Very nice.
And thanks Peeps! I forgot to say I'd really like to try that pasta with green olives. That sounds like it might approach the capers flavor I am coming to love. What a unique combination (to me).
Do you require reservations or do we just drop in?????
Looks great.
might watch the new wolverine movie ...
Is that the one where the Michigan State Wolverine's eats Notre Dame's lunch. You can watch it live tomorrow.
