I think tonight will be pork chops, stuffing. pan gravy and mixed veggies. If the chops are thick enough maybe I'll put the stuffing inside.
 
Odds and Ends.....it was.
Tina was shopping in PA at the Sams club, and the restaurant supply.
She brought left over from lunch, a Styrofoam container of spaghetti with meat sauce.
Italian wedding soup, and Krispy Kreme Doughnuts.
Plus apricot Kolatchi and Welsh cookies. Ummmm!

Last night was grilled garden vegetables and steaks: shishito peppers, cool ABT's, hot ABT's, garlic-herb eggplants, flank steak for me, porterhouse for my friend.

Beautiful night, for a change!

THX, QSis.... I beat down a boneless thigh ! worked out, somehow....
That went into the Air Dryer @ 375 for 12 minutes ...
Then added Sauce & cheese, and into the microwave for 50 seconds....




Didn't get my red meat fix this w/end, so it's a Rib Eye tonight !
 
I worked the night shift with a little OT.
I'm tired but zinging from my coffee fix, so..
Not sure.
Might just give Tano's a call.
 
WOW- It looks like Dominoes has improved since I used them last. Looks Great!
That other one improved too......uh! ...I can't think of it... Ok PIZZA HUT!
I love building my own pizza and selecting the crust ( cheese filled crust my favorite ).
Onion and extra anchovy's is my favorite topping.
 
Our Pizza hut is now a Cricket Wireless Store........
Our KFC is now a Salad Works...... $9.29 for Salad ???
....... and when the WaWa is built, we'll probably lose our Family-run Deli where, for thirty-four years, I got my lunch on the way to work.........

We lost our Local Market to a Wal-Mart super Store, we lost our Pharmacy (two of them) to a CVS.....

Okay, I'm thru ....





Last night's grilled Rib Eye, Mushrooms sautee'd in Butter and Cabernet, Baked & Buttered Russet, Stewed Tomatoes with Scallions & Okra..... Salad w/ Creamy Ranch....

I've never had a problem with Domino's.
Pizza Hut.. around these parts it depends on which one you go to.

Dinner is still in question.
 
We used Craig's home cured bacon to make bacon, zucchini, onion orichette with garlic rolls.

It will be eggplant parm for me / us. Mommy T bought Michael Angelo bag frozen breaded eggplant from Sams in Easton, PA the other day. We like it, and I enjoy putting it together and saucing it the way we like it.
Never hit a bad bag of eggplant yet.
 
I made some artichoke chicken last night...butterflied chicken breast topped with a combo of mayo, sour cream, chopped artichoke hearts, and parmesan cheese, then baked. It was pretty good, and I would do it again.
 
So I just returned from a dental cleaning and DIL says, Madre, you know what's for supper?
I said fried chicken.
She says oh yes, KFC, I'll go get at 4.

So that's another night of "out" food.

Sass, your Domino's pizza actually looked great! Since we have mom and pop sub and pizza stores on every corner here, I haven't been to a Domino's or any other chain pizza place in years.

Jimmy, frozen fried eggplant sounds terrific! I will look for it.

Cooksie, your baked chicken and artichoke dish is making my mouth water!

I must say, the slaw was dry!
Disappointed! because I like to dip my chicken in it.
I had the wing,half the breast and the sides.
The remaining chicken will be tomorrow's lunch.

Going through a $H!t Show here now. DD's bank card was reported compromised.
They think???? so they locked her account.
 
I had a small bowl of rigatoni with tomato sauce late afternoon. When DD got home from work we used my new poachers. For large eggs 3:15 makes a perfect poached egg. I had 1 egg and half a toasted English muffin. No pictures. But tomorrow we will probably make eggs benedict. I will get pictures of that.

I picked up stuff for DD to try her hand at making sushi: bamboo rolling mat and rice paddle, seasoned rice vinegar, nori, sesame seeds and avocado. Since this was a first run she opted out of crab and cucumber and just did a basic roll.

They turned out pretty good ... I'm told. I don't eat sushi. I don't like seaweed or crab (I don't care for most fish raw or cooked). I even took a shot at rolling. We'll get better.

California avocado sushi roll. One has spicy mayo added.
