I think it will be breakfast for dinner tonight. Taylor Ham (pork roll), egg, and cheese on roll.
 
black & gold food-- i'll tint my panko & make phish-- pabst & veggies, too-- they're not getting tint; butter's gold, & i'll put fresh black pepper onto those------- luv ya, Pittsburgh~~

Houston, we have space . . . refrigerator space that is . . .
been on a tear to eat up left-overs and froze-overs.
tonight was last of the pickled beets, pan refried black-eyed peas&rice, spinach salad, sliced chicken (ex-stewed)


those uber big shallots of recent fame? used those in the baby spinach salad - sliced like onion. nice change up.
 
Mojo marinated grilled Cuban chicken, green rice, black beans.

Those chicken and waffles look yummy, Lucky.

Tonight will be crab cakes, rice and a simple salad.
 
Hopefully a Seafood Alfredo for Supper. I bought some radishes, so I'll cook them up as well. I had Zucchini left from yesterday. I sliced it up small, added butter and salt, put them in the air fryer for 10 minutes at 400 degrees. I will do that again.l
 
DIL wants Chinese take out tonight.
I'll get something too.

I'll do the planned crab cake dinner tomorrow evening.
 
I just got the recipe from Lucky- dozen brussels sprouts
8 large radishes
salted water
salt and pepper

Trim the stem edge of the sprouts; trim top and bottom edges of radishes.
In a large saucepan, Bring salted water to a boil. immerse the radishes and sprouts.
Cook 10 - 14 minutes, or until the sprouts are done and the radishes begin to lose their color.
Drain, return to saucepan. Add butter or margarine. gently mix the veggies with the melting butter.
Move to a serving dish, season with salt and pepper, and serve.
 
No to the take out tonight.
After that big breakfast and the sub, I'm simply not hungry.
We've moved that to tomorrow night instead.
I work tomorrow as well.
She ate some leftovers.
As long as everyone's happy, right?

Marie Callander Beef Pie, Red Potato Salad, and a Palate Cleaner ; Cantaloupe chunks...


I stopped buying Meat Pies decades ago... They deteriorated steadily thru the Seventies to the point where they were mostly Gravy, with only a crust on top, not a Pie at all...........

I've got a Chicken, a Potato-Veggie and a "Chicken Corn Chowder" pie in the freezer...........


I messed up the edge a bit getting it out of its cup.....

When I was on the South Beach diet, I couldn't have potatoes.... I started buying the biggest radishes I could find, and putting them in roasts, stews,
all over the place, got to like the taste and texture a lot..... one evening I impulsively threw a couple in with the Sprouts.... never looked back........ the only change I've made was broth instead of water.

We're getting the take out combo of egg rolls, moo goo gai pan, fried rice and egg drop soup.
 
Tonight was tasty- A small Crab Salad-Chicken Congee- a BBQ Chicken Thigh, & a glass of wine.

I've heard the term many times "Chicken & Waffles" but I never saw them. OMG- That is like a golden chicken gravy. I will try. Thx Lucky
