I didn't really care for the Julie/Julia movie either. Meryl was good but the rest was boring.

On the "Turner Classic Movies" channel, the absolutely fabulous classic - "Sunset Boulevard", starring Gloria Swanson & William Holden. One of my all-time favorites.

Just finished, but I may watch it again since I have it on dvd & was doing other things while it was playing.

That is one of the best movies ever!

Love it! Years ago, some friends and I flew from Portland, OR (where we lived) to LA for the weekend to see Glenn Close in Andrew Lloyd Weber's play, "Sunset Boulevard." Real magic, but not quite as good as the original movie.

Dang dang it. I missed it. I hope its on again soon. I watch TCM all the time. Even if most of them are B&W.

I also watch Masterpeice Theater on PBS. Every Sunday Night. It is great .The Best ..

Love the old Classics.

Not at the moment, but recently, I watched Chef Garces (FN - Iron Chef) make (Hawaiian) red snapper with Macadamia Nut Butter. I wanted to reach through the screen & grab it. The secret ingredient was Hawaiian red snapper. Try to catch it, if it airs again. All the dishes looked fab!

Closer :thumb: then

Rozzoli & Isle.
I'm recording those :thumb: I still have last nights True Blood and Drop Dead Diva to watch.

At the moment I am listening to my girls bickering while playing a video racing game and the cat growling because my daughter won't let him go.

Now my girl put Frasier on

I heard these two songs on the radio today and they keep coming back to me.
It's amazing how McGuinn and Petty sound identical.

Later on I am going to watch Franco Zeffirelli's Romeo and Juliet.
Classic!

I very seldom ever watch daytime tv, but I have had the tv on today because of all the fires around the area . There has been some pretty funny stuff on--how to give yourself an apple pie facial :dizzy:, Rachel Ray's show had a "court" for couples who have decorating disagreements with John Giddings (HGTV) as the judge (pretty funny), and some other stuff about bodily cleaning that I'm not sure is appropriate here .
