i've never cooked a bird standing up before. hmmmmmmmmmmm a turkey would work on that also? L2Q's standing up turkey looked so gooooooooooooood!! wait a turkey probably would not fit in the oven? i don't roast whole chickens very often. i basically roast whole turkeys.Oh heck, yeah. Plenty of people do beer can chickens inside their oven and this stand would certainly work. It's pretty shallow though. I'm not sure I would entirely trust it to contain the drippings when sliding the rack out.

hey i have a heavy wooden coat hanger!!I don't think this stand is stout enough for a turkey. You might have to adapt a taller stand, like from a turkey fryer.
