Does any one know of a good online source for ordering spices in particular vanilla beans? I want to make my own extract using vodka and the old bean in question. Thanks!

I saw a site a while back that had some good prices on vanilla bean....brb.

If you are in Willamette Valley, Oregon then there are a bunch of Whole Foods near you. They are listed here based on the zip code. Whole Foods sells some of the freshes herbs and spices found in most places regardless. It would also probably be fresher than you can get off the net.

HC, Thanks for the link to the older post. I did order from Topvanilla.com 25 Madagascar beans for $15 including S&H. Time will tell about the quality of the spice.
