I don't know what y'all ate, are cookin' or are going to eat, but I'm working on a variation of Joe V's Smothered Chicken. Added a little bacon from the other day and some crimini mushrooms to the onions, pepper and celery. We're getting there...
Sorry if I missed the opening thread, but I didn't see it if there was one.

And remember; A day without a thread is..... well... a lost button. Or worse

had some pre-marinated boneless chicken breasts that are going on top of
all the goodies i got from the farmers market on sunday ....
oh .. i grilled the chicken ...
and some garlic bread to go with it ...

I'm making Paul throw a steak on the bbq.

It finally got hooked up this weekend. I'd do it but I have NO idea how....

Went out tonight. DW had breakfast and I had Hungarian Goulash over flat noodles with a dollop of sour cream. Soup was french onion. All was good.

Fred, the concoction looks good.

Thanks, all.

mmm, ribeyes and blue cheese.... is there any beter combination

The finished dish. Good stuff, Joe. It gets better everytime I make it.

Crystal had her Last School Concert for the year.
we stopped here after the Concert. Crystal Plays Flute
At School!

DD and her class had "Restaurant Night" at her school last night. The menu was baked chicken, hand made noodles, corn, tossed salad, and cream puffs. It was pretty darn good! DD was in charge of filling the cream puffs.

I was out last night so it was a quick pasta of tomatoes, mushrooms, onion & garlic with wholewheat pasta

Thanks, all.

Not me. I'm a minimalist when it comes to steak. I like it to be steak flavored!

Now a cheesesteak sandwich on the other hand is great with cheese whiz!

We had (no surprise) Left-over meatloaf as sandwiches, french fries, left-over green beans.............
