The usual greeting for witches is "Blessed Be", which is a wish for the general well-being of the recipient. Surprisingly its origin appears to be relatively recent and traces back to the 1950s and the Gardnerian branch of Wicca which was compiled by Gerald Gardner. He claims to have adopted ancient practices, but there is no proof that this greeting is ancient.
