CRAP !!

the best-selling fictional novel (meaning the estimated number of copies sold of a book, not the sheer number of those books that exist), is the Spanish novel "Don Quixote" by Miguel de Cervantes, published in 1605. Some figure the total is as high as 500 million copies. The Guinness World Records lists the Bible at the best-selling book of all time with an estimated 5 billion sold, ten times more than " Don Quixote".

"Don Quixote" did, after all, have a huge head start on all the others, being in existence for centuries longer.
