Tina Baby...is making banana crep's...
We / or at least I, call them Banana hankies...hahaha

My mother in law made them in a square electric skillet, and they looked more like hankies...

I gotta get some pics to post...

Here are the finished Hankies...

DW likes hers with jelly or jam..and rolled up

DD likes maple syrup..and rolled up..

DS likes granulated sugar and lemon juice on his..

I like cream cheese and walnuts and rolled up...

They are super thin, and they drape like a hankie.

hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha...I just fell off the chair thinking of something funny.

( mr hankie ) ...shhhh.. Don't tell Tina. :twak:

Stove top grilled boneless shell steaks (from Australia), potato salad (baby red potatoes in jackets boiled in salted water for 5 minutes, sliced and splashed with white vinegar while hot then allowed to cool, dressed with mayo, sour cream, ground sea salt, ground peppercorns, white vinegar and sliced green onions), steamed corn on the cob

And a salad (iceberg lettuce leftover from the tacos last night, vine tomato, black olives and sliced almonds dressed with homemade Italian dressing).

Beautiful Jimmy. Care to share the crepe recipe?

Norm, luvs, Nancy, Jimmy and Peeps, your dinners all look outstanding! I'm hungry for ribs, steak, chicken and crepes for dessert. lol

I made a crawfish/tomato concoction over rice which turned out really good and also a salad.

Great looking dinners. Jimmy, I make crepes on Fridays in Lent, and fill them with grape jelly, cottage cheese and top them with sour cream. Simple and delicious!

No cooking at home tonight as I'm cooking at DW's church festival this weekend. Tonight was burgers, dogs, brats and chicken breast for 6 hours after working all day. Saturday will be making ribs as the rib vendor failed to buy his permit, and the Health inspector shut him down. We bought all his ribs and I'll be making them Saturday and Sunday. I was hoping for Sunday off to smoke a chicken for me and DW, but the church needs me as they are short handed on cooks...lots of servers, but not enough people versed in working in a commercial kitchen and getting out the production needed to feed the masses. No rest for the wicked...I think of Vera every time I get into this production cooking. Glad I don't own a restaurant and have to do this every day. It's a lot of work.

Thanks Joe..

The Mrs. made them.

Nice that you are helping out at the church festival. I know you are enthused about it. I know you can handle it.

This is my dad's version of Chicken Adobo... a recipe he brought back from the Philippines 1959.
Chicken, onions, garlic, vinegar and soy sauce.... and soooooo good!

Next is "fried cabbage", nappa cabbage, onions, zuchinni, garlic, ginger, soy and chili paste.
Garnished with cucumber and cilantro.

(Adobo was the meal I made the night my Dad passed away, and this is one's for him!)

And I must say that I want a steak, sliced and served in a hankie, with a bit of crawfish on the side! Plus everything else!
YUM!
:)
